Hello everyone! I don‘t even know where to start. I am about to graduate from high school and my next step now is to decide where to study and what to study. I have wanted to study abroad all my life. I love getting to know new cultures and I know that I would love it. I did an exchange in high school and I really enjoyed it. However, my parents basically told me that I have to go to the local university that is close to where we live or they wont pay a penny. It has very limited and basic choices. I also don‘t see myself living here for another four years because I‘m just very unhappy here. I see how it would be drowning slowly if I have to study there. I really don‘t know what to do. I have also been thinking about taking a gap year to get some money but my parents would probably kick me out and second of all since I don‘t have any relevant working experience I would probably have to work in a fast food chain for a year. This makes me so anxious that I’m even considering not going to uni.
