For those who’ve done a dissertation or thesis, how did you convince strangers to fill out your surveys?

Hi everyone. I’m currently working on my master’s thesis, I’m in that stage where data collection feels like the biggest mountain to climb. My looks at how short-form travel videos (like Instagram Reels) can shape the way people see different countries and decide where to travel.
