A former California Department of Education official is taking over as head of nonprofit to promote college, career readiness

Donna Wyatt, a former director at the California Department of Education, is taking over as executive director of Get Focused...Stay Focused!®.

As a nonprofit organization used at hundreds of schools around the nation, Get Focused...Stay Focused!® helps students rethink the way they apply for college and plan for a career. The program provides a classroom-based, comprehensive guidance program designed to increase high school and college completion and ensure students are successfully transitioned into the workforce with the skills required to succeed.
