This is my 5th year teaching and I've been contemplating going for my Ed.D for the last couple of years. Some background - I have my master's in education already, and want to work in science curriculum development at the district and/or state level + possibly teach science education classes at the community college or state university level.
I've found a program that's at a state school (so cheaper), but also allows me to teach full time. I'm seeking advice on whether my letter of rec options sound promising and if anyone has advice on drafting their own LOR per my professor's request.
My LORs will be from my current principal, my department chair, and my former professor who currently teaches at the school I'm applying to. Would love any guidance from people who have applied for EdD programs. Thanks!
