Hi! I’m a sophomore and have done average in school all my life. Due to covid + incredibly bad mental/physical health, I basically stopped doing anything school related for a month or so. I’m failing every class and taking Spanish 1, ELA, Math, Wrld History, Chemistry, and PE. The end of the semester is this week. I also attend high school in California.
I think I can do 2-3 classes for summer school and I’m planning to take ELA, Chemistry, and history. I read that you can take 1 year of a foreign language or a performing art, either or. So, I’m planning on taking Theater or Orchestra (a 0 period) next year to make up for those missed credits. Maybe Marching Band to make up PE + Lang./Perf.
Is this a good plan? What can I do better with it? I’ve never failed this much and most of my friendships, a relationship, and part of my future is on the line but no one really knows how to help (neither do I).
