I am a 12 year old girl from Hong Kong. I found out about British boarding school myself when I was towards the end of 6th grade. Since then I have been dreaming to go to one forever. My teeth need braces but because of COVID I haven’t been able to get them. My parents and I live in Hong Kong. If I have to go abroad, it would be hard to get braces. Also, if my parents send me to boarding school, it would mean spending 10% of our family income every year. I had also had horrible luck when it comes to getting into schools. No matter what school I want to go to, I fail their tests. People who perform worse than me in grades seem to achieve more when it comes to this. I am quite sad right now because now it seems impossible.
