Hello,
It recently dawned on me that my children (boy 8yo and girl 6yo) could greatly benefit from being exposed to exceptional abilities of outstanding artists, scientists, philosophers, architects, sculptors, writers, etc. While too young to fully appreciate many works of great men and women throughout history, their minds nonetheless are able to find and appreciate some things about great works, perhaps moreso than adults. And as they move forward into adulthood, having had some correspondence with some of the best things in history, their minds may open and blossom in ways they may not have without that exposure.
With that little explanation in mind, does anyone have any suggestions for objects to put around the house that would inspire or intrigue their young minds, works that may hold some fascination for grown ups as well?
