I worked for a state department of Education for years and I was always seeing the Public School defense but no one really explaining why. What’s wrong with private schools or giving people a choice to pick whatever school they want? Doesn’t both use teachers and educate? I’m trying to find where the differences come in. I’m told some want stricter structure for students. Some want more freedom for students. Some want to teach only specific subjects, while others want to restrict what can or cannot to taught. Is it really all just about the current ideological trend or is it something that isn’t so upfront?
