Guys can anyone suggest a way to keep the audience silent?

I will be hosting a quiz program tomorrow,the number audience is around 70+ ,they are college students,I have already conducted a event were every one was not listening and they where discussing amoung them self ,I need a way to nake the audience be silent and enjoy the event,so suggest me some ways guys
