For context, I am a 15-year-old grade 10 student who is totally clueless about what they are going to pursue. I want to be financially successful and financially stable… but I also want to pursue my passions. Growing up, I’ve always been interested in studying animals, plant life, prehistoric creatures, and how they interact with one another. I even wanted to be a paleontologist for a very long time… or even an ecologist—since I was so interested and fascinated by how everything interacted… And then around when I was in 6th to 8th grade, my interests began to shift more into the humanities. I was interested in history, philosophies/beliefs, how humanity and civilizations came to be… and the differences of everyone and how they were brought up and how they interacted and what happened for them to react that way… And now I’m interested in business because… welll… it’s the most practical thing I can do… but I don’t want to be a corporate slave… and I know I have it in me to find a way to thrive—but I know the corporate and business track would probably make me financially secure but emotionally exhausted and repressed. So… for the older folks there… what is your advice or like question?
