What’s a better word for “homeschooling” than “homeschooling” ?

Are there any homeschoolers out there ? I feel like homeschooling is not a great word to describe the phenomena of homeschooling. Any better ones you like ? Unschooling, deschooling, world schooling ? DIY learning ? Anything without the word school?
