Student Association (Faculty of Science) - In need of ideas!!!

Hello!

I need help, more precisely IDEAS. I am part of the student association of the faculty of science at my university which is basically in charge of planning activities that strengthen bonds between students and that help each student develop professionally in their field.

Within the student association of the faculty of science, I am in charge of promoting rotations in the research labs at my university, scheduling seminars about recent scientific projects, etc.

I am here to ask for help from my fellow science students, I wanted to know what kind of activities your university does to encourage students to get involved in research or get lab experience. Basically, any kind of activity related to labs, research, science, even student exchange opportunities.

Also, if you could share with me how your university is getting all of the first-year students involved with clubs or associations or excited about the activities planned throughout the year or even helping them to make friends and establish new bonds, especially now that most of the classes are online, I would really appreciate it.
