I‘m from western Europe and currently studying to become a teacher. I have the opportunity to work 1 year as a teaching assistant in the US and also study there (starting august 2025) Because of the current political situation in the US I‘m worrying about my financial security and overall living situation there. Would you take this opportunity? Of what should I be aware? I would greatly appreciate insights from people currently teaching/ studying in the US!
