I drive close to the school and walk my child to the gate every morning. The same gate that kids who walk with or without supervision from parents enter from. It's much faster than car line and gets my kid a little bit of activity in the morning to warm up.
Well, we got a notice stating kids who live over 2 miles away must use carline. Is this enforceable? Are they going to stand at the gate with a clip board with ever childs address to confirm they live less than 2 miles away? Are they going to deny our kid every to school? I highly doubt that...
I'm still going to walk my kid... But just wondering if this is enforceable at all.
