Can you drop out while in year 12 - Australia

So basically I've finished my first term of year 12 and tbh u don't think I can handle the rest of the year,I'm currently 16 and will be 17 come April and I understand you have to have a job or have a plan to do an apprenticeship or got to TAFE, if I do have such things can I drop put even though I'm in my last year. I'm asking this so that I'm sure it's and option and that I don't bring it up to my family and school for nothing. Yk. And please don't tell me I've gotten this far I can make it another 6ish months. I've struggled.
