Edexcel igcse.

Hello. Am nearly done with edexcel igcses I've only one subject left. I have received all As until now and am expecting an A* in chemistry. I have only maths left to attempt. I was recently told by someone that edexcel is less acceptable in unis than Cambridge. Is that true? Hiw much will it matter that i chose edexcel in my igcses? Secondly should I choose cambridge in A levels so I have more options open to me internationally?
