Degree

I do not understand this and I hope someone can clear this up for me. My final class ends June 9, 2022. My university is saying that my degree will not be posted until August 31, 2022 as long as I meet all the major requirements. Does that mean I have to wait 2.5 months for my degree? Am I unable to say I have Bachelor’s Degree in July? Like I am so confused.

If that is the case why do I have to wait that long? It takes 2.5 months to acknowledge I met the degree requirements???? Why can’t I get my degree like June 30. I mean 2.5 weeks is reasonable. I don’t understand how it will take 2.5 months to acknowledge my accomplishment and let me have my degree. Am I unable to legally put on my resume I have a Bachelor degree in July? Someone please explain this.
