Tips for focusing / The future

I dont really know who to talk too, so I came here.

As a freshmen, in my third quarter, I am lost and dont know how to get back on track. I have a 1.56 GPA and I know I could do better if I found the motivation and tools to focus and listen. If you have tips on how to improve my grades and attention span, please tell me. Also will this affect me in the long run, my GPA being so bad? If I do terrible in freshmen year, is it still possibly to have a good future?
