My friends and I were trying to help young readers polish their reading skills after school hours. It is difficult for teachers to understand every child’s specific difficulty in their reading skills. We therefore decided to create an app which allows a child to choose a topic e.g dog, ball , etc and the app will create a story based upon the interest of the child. The child records the story page by page and transcribes it. The app will then compare the child’s reading to the actual story and locate his mistakes.
The function of transcribe currently only works on a computer. Please let me know your thoughts.
