Gov. DeSantis' conservative changes to New College of Florida result in mass faculty departures

Gov. Ron DeSantis and Republican state officials have taken measures to transform New College of Florida into a more conservative institution by ousting the former college president and appointing six new ideologically aligned trustees. As a result, the small liberal arts school has seen mass faculty departures with more than one-third of personnel leaving within a single-year.
