Since being young I have always wanted to study and eventually work in the US and I took part in an exchange program last semester where my host University in London allowed me to take a semester abroad in New Jersey. I instantly fell in love with University over there and I am wanting to transfer there full time (I have completed 2/3 years of my bachelors so far).
I was wondering if anyone has had any experience or has knowledge on how private loans work for someone trying to fund their education abroad. I do not come from a financially stable family so I cannot find the tuition myself and of course SFE does not work when studying abroad so my only route would be to go for a private loan.
Anyone got any recommendations for lenders, experience or any advise on this on this and it may sound stupid but are there lenders who do not charge you payments on your loan until after you graduate like SFE but for overseas studies?
PS. I have applied to transfer and I am hearing back on my acceptance which would give a breakdown of my tuition (I have been told it is very likely I will be accepted). I know it will cost a lot more than University here in England but I hope with my degree in Data Science and Analytics I will be financially free in the future I know it is a risk but it is a risk I am willing to take. This will allow me to continue studying in the country I have dreamt of and possibly help me create connections for a graduate role in the country.
