Feasibility of teaching high school students to work, save, buy land, and build home?

High schools already have Career & Technical Education with Architecture & Construction and some high schools have students building tiny homes. How about full scale teaching students to work more in summer and after school to save enough money to buy land individually or as group, and build homes on their own land. They would be OK starting smaller homes comparable to what to expect in college housing. Would this make going to school more interesting and help with the housing affordability problem, and possibly avoid student loans? We will also need to organize people to develop more land with smaller lot sizes to allow students to buy at affordable prices.
