I skipped a grade when I was younger, so I’ll end up graduating when I’m 16-17. I live in Toronto where the only way you can take dual credit is if you’re going into the trades. I’d like to be a neurosurgeon someday- I’m completely in love with the profession but don’t want to hurt my chances by going to a “bad” school. I don’t think Johns Hopkins will take me though as a technically early graduate.
So should I graduate early and then apply, or graduate early, take a gap year and then apply? Which do you think more prestigious American schools would like to see? Which would improve my chances of getting accepted? PS I don't want to stay in high school since there's pretty much no other course that interests me, Im Taking everything I wanted to already
Thanks!
