How should I express romantic interest in my former professor?

I have a former professor that I have a bit of a crush on. We were able to develop some form of a connection based on a purely academic relationship. We are connected on LinkedIn, but other than that, I don’t have any other way to contact him.

I know this is such a weird question, but I’d like to express my interest in a way that is not creepy, but will also make it clear that I’m interested in possibly exploring more. I am 26F for reference and he was my grad professor.
