Teachers! YOU'RE TIME IS NOW. Why return to learn is set up for failure.

Why you need to halt the hybrid. It is up to teachers to SCREAM OUT LOUD. If your district made efforts toward a return to learn plan, and have not immediately addressed assessing each students mental health and wellness after an unprecedented time isolated in God knows what conditions. If the district is pushing for teachers to make lessons to fill up students schudule, without having an opened connection to students to freely check in....as a parent I am VERY concerned here. If teachers are under pressure worrying about state deadlines, that is horrifying. If the emotional well-being of each student is not being accessed immediately, there is a major concern. The districts have left some teachers high and dry. Heres what I really want teachers to think about. For real. I am not throwing conspiracies at anyone...But we REALLY, AS PARENTS, AND AS A COMMUNITY are depending teachers to have a unified voice, where the public can see as well. If the hybrids are Not working...if students are not getting required hours it needs to be publicly voiced that this is not working. I fear the end game here , if stats are collected now, for data later...brutal honest 100%. It is my concern the hybrid data collected now can be used later against teachers, thier jobs and face to face classrooms. Hybrid will prove to be less expensive, buildings wont need to be run, transportation wont need, special services will be limited. Even if that is not the end game, make sure we are all being honest.

EVERY CHILD'S mental health has been affected. Everywhere. Please speak up if its not been a major priorty in your districts. Hault the hybrid lessons and reconnect with the kids!! The good Parents will have your backs.
