Hey everyone, I've made the decision to pursue art school, and I'm wondering what schools would be best for someone who wants more of a technical/hands on approach. I've heard OCAD is very conceptual...I just want some opinions. I had a teacher in high school who told me not to go there, but it's the closest art school to me where I could get my BA. I'm fine with conceptual learning being in the curriculum, but I don't want to waste time and go to a school where my head is going to be stuffed full of it, and no actual technical approach. Also, to anyone who has gone to OCAD and has done the drawing and painting BA program, pls feel free to tell me what it was like! Thanks.
