I've chosen science for my high school but am leaning to shifting towards something arts/humanities based because I feel it is what I enjoy learning more than science. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the theory part of physics, but what I've learnt to date in school barely touches the interesting parts, and I don't have faith in my educational system to think that it'll get better if I study it at a higher level. I'm Indian, and our system is VERY rote based and I am very much not rote based. I enjoy physics, but absolutely hate the formulae and problems. I'm a theory nerd.
With this in mind, are there any IR graduates or people working in IR who I could talk with about the work in this field, or about the degree and what it's like to learn IR.
Any advice/opinion is very welcome, and I really hope to sort this out so please respond.
