Hi all. I’m set to get licensed as a teacher in the US this summer. To date, I’ve been teaching for nearly 7 years in China. I’ve been an after school and home room ESL teacher, while also creating and monitoring curriculum at a couple private centers. I’m currently the head teacher at a private school and my experience is from ages 2-9 primarily.
I plan on beginning a master’s degree in the fall and am very interested in curriculum and instruction, especially with instructional technology and STEAM. I want to eventually create my own blended learning curriculum and framework (a kind of flipped classroom model). Should I do a master’s geared towards this or first get a “proper” base with a general childhood education master’s? Thanks for your advice and suggestions everyone!
