How education could look like in the future

Currently, education takes place in atomizing classrooms, where students are discouraged from interacting with one another and all of the focus is put on the teacher, who downloads information to the students, so they can regurgitate that information back up on a test.

Every child is required to go through the same series of subjects, and a student's performance & success is measured only by how much content they can remember from their various subjects.

This is highly unnatural and unappealing to students as they have no autonomy or agency over their studies, and because real learning occurs through hands-on experience and trial-and-error, not by listening to lectures from others.

It is also in their nature to want to interact, collaborate, and have fun with one another.

A different approach

The future of education could look like a place not where kids are forced to learn anything, but instead, a place they come to be guided through their innate developmental process.

Where success & performance is based on their ability to collaborate, communicate, think critically, and have creative ideas.

Where classrooms are centered on the student, not the teacher.

Where kids' nature isn't repressed but encouraged, in an environment that engages their curiosity and feels natural.

Where kids can grow at their own pace.

Where they can discover their passions.

But most importantly, where students can feel like they are spending their time and energy meaningfully.

Very open to discussion, so feel free to dm me!
