I have been planning to go back and get my Masters. I am currently a SPED teacher, and want to get my Masters in Spec Ed so I can be a Spec Ed director. I’ve been looking into Biden’s Loan Forgiveness program and didn’t realize that it would apply to loans for grad school. I think that the loan forgiveness program will eventually go through. Assuming that it does, would now be the time to go back so that at least a portion of my grad school could be forgiven? Not looking for a political discourse on the opinion of whether loans should be forgiven, just a teacher, who is also a single mom, trying to justify that debt thinking that this might be the way to lighten that debt a little.
