Grade Schools are Building Large Single-Building School Houses and that is a Major Problem.

I have noticed over the past 10 years that Elementary, Middle, and High schools (grades 1-12) have started to implement massive single-building school house campuses. Whilst on the surface, this may seem to not be an issue, the results of this are, and will be dangerous to the younger generations.

Sad to say, school shootings are a semi-common occurrence in the US, and all we have to do is take a long/hard look at the Columbine High School Massacre to understand why single-building school house campuses are a huge threat to our children and the future generations. During the Columbine Incident, the perpetrators entered the school building using the front doors and basically had access to the entire school in an instant.

Whilst comparing Columbine to let's say Uvalde is a bit of a stretch, the same situation somewhat holds true. Both of these schools are single building campuses, and the perpetrator(s) of both incidents entered through a somewhat readily accessible main entrance, thus having access to the entire school building.

The problem lies in having a single school building. Why do educational systems continue to put our children at risk?
