Hi everyone!
I'm a 21F currently in my junior year of college. I'm pursuing a pretty general Biology degree at the moment because I enjoy science and I'm interested in genetics, but also wildlife. However, I'm in a few ruts.
- I don't really have a plan with my degree at all
- I'm spending so much money because there's one course I can't pass for the life of me no matter how hard I try. I'm frequently dropping and/or retaking. I already have so much debt as it is and I'm paying everything myself.
- I'm a very average student, so scholarships are no help.
I have recently been brought into the idea of trade school and I wanted some input on trade school. I haven't quite decided what I would do because nothing seems to stand out. I feel as though I won't necessarily be satisfied in any trade job, since it's not what I WANT to do, but I think financially and career wise it would be a great decision for me. I would most likely end up going back to get my bachelor's at some point, but right now I'm just blowing money I don't have.
Is trade school something to consider? I've been leaning towards a paralegal or a medical technician of some sort. Those are areas of semi interest of mine, but nothing I'm extremely excited for. I feel like I'm having to settle, which kind of sucks, but unfortunately I don't come from wealth and, again, I'm a very average student.
Thoughts? I feel like in the long run it could definitely be worth it
