I am from the UK and ever since I’ve been in lockdown, online school has been getting harder and harder each week.
When we weren’t doing remote learning, we usually got 3-5 pieces of work all together (2-3 assignments and 1-2 homeworks). It could be a lot but i still managed to send in most of them on time and actually crack on and complete them in a good standard.
Now that we are doing classes via zoom, our teachers have been piling more and more and more work each lesson. I now literally have 8-10 pieces of work to do, 2 of them are due on the same day as each other this week , the others are due later this month and early march and some are even over due. I even got a referral to do and 4 pieces of maths homework.
I cannot find it within me to do anymore work or classes, i am at my breaking point and feel like giving up with my education. I am so exhausted.
Every time i go to my teachers for support, they either get super defensive and say “I’m jumping down their throat” and being disrespectful or i get told to just do it. I only have one understanding teacher but she’s the one who’s giving out the most work.
I’ve tried making myself sit down and do work but i constantly get distracted and it’s becoming really over-whelming.
