[canada] do colleges/universities look at highschool grades years after graduating?

Hi all, sorry if this is a dumb question, but I intended to work for a year after graduating high school, but i've been working for 4 years now. If I wanted to apply to university/college, do they still consider your highschool grades for the pre-reqs? Or at this point are my highschool credits considered obsolete?
