Is there any good software with smartboard-like functionality I can use to create whiteboard videos?

The smartboards in our classrooms all have software that is essentially a powerpoint presentation, with the added ability to draw all over the slides. I need to do something like that for a few videos I'm planning to make, and not sure of the best way to achieve it.
