What are the techniques and strategies utilized by your school in order to prevent cheating in tests?

I highly despise cheating. It only benefits you short term and has serious consequences in the future such as being lazy, inability to commit into achieving goals, and not having the right education for your future careers.

That being said, are there any unusual strategies that are used by teachers to catch cheaters and prevent them?
