My future

What do I do if I’m really bad at writing papers and overall English (grammar..etc) I heard in college you have to be really good at those types of things.. I wanna become a vet but I don’t see myself going in that path.. I make good grades but I just do the bare minimum because that’s all it takes to get an A in America… I don’t study anything at all and I forget basic things like verbs and nouns… I’m literally in 11th grade and I feel like a failure. Should I just skip college and go to a trade school? Does it take a lot of effort to graduate…and what’s the environment like…
