Problems faced by teachers and schools that IT can solve

We are a team that are building an opensource educational platform targeted to schools and teachers. We are in the very early stages where we just gather problems faced by teachers and schools in their daily job and we'll start by the most easily solvable problem. Target are schools from primary schools up to high schools.

I would be very grateful if anyone can provide insights to the following questions : - What are the top 3 tasks that takes the most time for teachers ? - What are the top 3 tasks that takes the most time for school administrators ? - What recurrent problems teachers face in their daily job ? - What recurrent problems school administrators face in their daily job ? - What do you think should be the most important characteristics of a software teachers and schools administrators will be using everyday?
