Standardized testing during the pandemic? Tell lawmakers to protect English Learners

Students shouldn't have to come in-person to take a standardized test if their district has deemed it unsafe to learn in person. English Learners are being asked to do just that. My district has been virtual all year and is scheduled to remain that way for the year. Covid-19 is rampant in my students community, and I know of students that have lost family members to the virus, even as recently as last week. Please take 30 seconds to share this prewritten letter with your representatives, telling them to support a federal waiver for WIDA ACCESS testing this school year.
