Why does it seem like most of the teachers on here don't like teaching or discourage other people from becoming teachers? Those of you who are teachers, are there any specific reasons you would not want to become a teacher again if you had to redo your life?
I made a post the other day about switching from Engineering to teaching High School and a lot of people said that was dumb to do. (I understand where they are coming from too). Just curious on why there seems to be so much discouragement for the profession.
Just thought I'd try to see what some of the cons may be to teaching in case I ever do make the transition.
