About Go Guardian

I am a student and I asked a friend who works in IT about Go Guardian and this is what he said.

"Go Guardian is not deemed malware or spyware in a traditional sense. However I have seen videos and statements where teachers have taken it upon themselves to affect students' work. In that case, it would become spyware and an unauthorised use of Go Guardian."

These are the statements and videos he's referring to

• Students with IEP accommodations having Spotify closed and teachers smiling at them while doing it

• One teacher blocked Google, Firefox, and Edge

• Images of Cats, basketballs, ect are being blocked

-Several people who had to use Go Guardian during covid on personal computers were locked out of said computers and parents got involved
