Ward of Court/State and Free Education

Hi hello! :)

I’ve been doing research and many states offer discounted tuition- free college for students who were wards of the state/ court.

I am officially a few weeks past the age where that applies to me, but now I’m super curious about what to do.

My entire undergrad should have been free yet I was paying for it.

I will set up a meeting with an advisor at the next availability to discuss this but in the meantime I wanna hear if anyone else has been in this situation? And if so, was there anything you could do about it?
