I was just talking to a teen the other day whosaid he'd do his homework on the bus heading to school. Do kids really get so much less work than they did years ago?

I can't recall ever having so little homework that I could get it done on the way to school; especially as a teen. It feels like the whole direction or purpose of education has changed. Like how are these kids getting into college?
