Moving back to the USA. Son's USA school enrollment.

My wife and I are moving back to the USA after teaching abroad for a few years. Our son is now in 2nd grade onto 3rd grade next year. Will we need to get any Ministry of Education or Ministry of Foreign Affairs seals of approval on any of his prior report cards from the government of the region he attended school at for him to be able to enroll him in school in the USA? We have his passport, social security card, vaccination records, and prior report cards. Will we need anything else? I want to get it taken care of while we are here and not have to manage to get it when we have already move back to the USA. Does anyone here know the policy or can take a minute to ask someone who does. This is very important to us.
