Sex?

There's a question I want to ask and the matter is hurting the relationship I am in.

Back in high school we were being taught something of a psychology, the teacher said men are dogs and only thing they think about is sex while women never EVER think of it and if a women brings it up it's because she wants something ( mind that the class was all dudes). Now being in a relationship I am really confused…
