Do people really think the American application system is good

I’m not an American but have studied in Europe in Ireland who I think has the best application system to university where you have a 2 year program you pick your best subjects and count 6 of them you get a score depending what you get in an exam at the end and with that score you apply to university since it’s all automated there is no bias as all that u are is a number in one the system

(Ps im fluent English and speak without an accent but I can’t write good quality essays since all I do are sciences and maths were you don’t need to be able to ramble about themes and other meaningless stuff)

I wanted to apply to the USA and bieng a top student gettting more than 90% in 6 classes that I was gonna count I thought I could get in but when I researched I found that it was such a shit show you have to write essays about random stuff so immediately people who aren’t good at English as a subject basically stand no chance unless you can pay someone to write the essay for you as well the SAT being maths and English the maths being embarrassingly easy but again people who aren’t good at English are out one more time what I think is even worse is their reliance that you have to be part of clubs to stand a chance how’s that a good system it can allow people who get much worse grades than me and who generally are dumber to get in over people like me

Not even gonna mention the obvious bias and minority quotas universities often have like for an Asian American being harder to get in than an African American

I really don’t see any upside to this system it only works for those who are good at English as a subject

Or am I missing something?

TLDR-filler
