As a student , I noticed throughout my years of education that not many teachers give you tips on how to study at home despite the latter being very crucial for one's educational progress . You just have to figure that out by yourself . While it is true that every learner is unique and no method is the same for everyone yet I think that there is a baseline that needs to be met in order to prepare for any type of exam . For example if your method is based on understanding the lesson well and you take an exam that tends to stray away from it for a bit , you will be in trouble . Or if you base your studying on nailing various applications of the lesson and you take an exam that is fundamentally lesson based , you will find difficulty too . Is it more practical to work on a subject non stop until exam day or create a specific day to work on it then setting it aside ? I fell like a lot of students nowadays either exhaust themselves to death or just say f*** it and stop caring .
