Will my college admissions be badly affected by transferring to another school in my junior year?

So, currently I am a sophomore in high school and I've been wanting to transfer to a different school that has a really good creative writing problem? The only problem? My mother basically says that if I do transfer to another school in my junior year, I'll seriously mess up my college applications. She's even gone as far to say that I'll end up getting in a terrible college because of it and that people that transfer in their junior go to worse colleges. I've done some research into this and I haven't found any statistics that show that people do worse when then transfer in their junior year. I've been a straight A student pretty consistently throughout high school and have taken some AP classes (and likely will take more AP classes if I transfer) so I think that academically, I should be pretty okay for college. Then again, I don't really know much about the outside world so what do you guys think?
