I don't know what to study to encompass the things I want to study.

The title may seem nonsensical but hear me out here, and I truly hope I'm posting this in a relevant and appropriate subreddit.

I've had an interest in the history of religion ever since Junior High School despite not being religious, and over the years have developed an increasing interest in certain philosophical subjects, or at least I think it's philosophy, seems like a lot of it rolls back around to religion (Demiurge for example). And ever since I dropped out of university after 2 years of studying sound engineering and music production (If only I had known how little I'd actually enjoy that from a potential career perspective and not just as a hobby, that debt will always be a reminder) I've toyed with the idea of going back to study the history of religion, and I suppose philosophy as well, religious philosophy? Is that a thing?

So with the story of my life out of the way, I come to ask if there's any studies that pinpoint exactly this or something that can eventually lead to it? I live in Norway, but I'll take care of figuring out if whatever suggestions might pop in here are things I can study here or if I'd have to move abroad were I to go all in on this.

I appreciate any and all help here, even rude comments are welcome. Everyone is welcome!
