Hey guys, I've got a situation to discuss. Our university teamed up with Coursera, initially offering us a discounted registration fee of 3k that would otherwise cost 35k for 3 months. However, it's become a bit dicey. Despite being told it's our choice, the university is now pressuring us, threatening assignments linked to Coursera that we'd need to pay for if we don't register. They claim it's for our benefit, especially in terms of future placements, but many of us aren't convinced and very few people have registered from my section. And this has got them angry. Recently, a director gave us a passive-aggressive talk, insisting registration is compulsory, hinting at potential issues like not getting recommendation letters for higher studies. Initially, they said it wasn't about money for the college, but the recent behavior suggests otherwise. Any thoughts on what might be going on?
